ONE-ON-ONE STRATEGIES & TACTICS

Negotiation Support

the pragmatic guidance you need

Is this you?

  • Frustrated with an ex who won’t engage in a proper settlement discussion?
  • Spent a shocking amount with lawyers and basically got … nowhere?
  • Bewildered by multiple opinions about what you should do?
  • Or are you and your ex trying to do things peacefully … but don’t know where to start?

Trying to secure a financial settlement can be confusing and frustrating.

The “rules” are so vague, they’re next to useless. And everyone including your neighbour and your cousin’s hairdresser has an opinion about what you should do.

Let's develop a plan together

Could you really do with some straightforward, practical guidance from someone who knows what they’re talking about?

Well, that’s probably me. I’ve helped over 1,000 people reach sensible financial settlements.

Book a phone session with me and we’ll develop a plan together. A real strategy for how to get a result.

  • Find the concrete steps you can take, now.
  • Take into account the dynamics of your particular situation.
  • Find where the law is useful or just irrelevant.
  • Check you’re not indulging in wishful thinking.
  • Stop blindly waiting weeks while your lawyer sends endless ineffective letters.
  • Eliminate stress and worrying what will happen to you.

Maybe it’s time to stop feeling like a victim and start taking control.

In just 45 minutes we can reduce your worry and get you some real clarity about where you stand and what you need to do next.

We'll work out an effective plan to secure a financial settlement for you

Let’s have a working session so we can create a practical plan to secure a fair deal with your ex… and so I can show you how to minimise stress, costs and delays.

A practical plan that will help you make real progress

In our phone session I’ll show you how settlements really work – and how to secure yours in the most effective way possible.

Here’s some of what we’ll cover in our call:

We'll review your financial situation

I'll help you understand what you should reasonably - and realistically - expect from your settlement

We'll review what's happened so far, to understand what's working, what's not... and why

You'll discover how to make your settlement discussions productive

I'll give you some guidance on how to keep emotions under control and how to stop things escalating

We'll anticipate some possible behaviours by your ex and how to handle them

I'll teach you smart tactics you can use to keep costs to a minimum

Together, we'll develop a concrete plan - what you should do, how and when

It’s by phone. (So, no, you don’t need to dress up and drive and park and wait in reception.)

Yes, I understand that talking about divorce during work hours may not be possible. I have some appointments available on evenings and weekends.

No. I’m not a lawyer – although I was a legal publisher for years, managing teams of lawyers and legal writers.
But it’s crucial to understand that “the legal system” is only one factor in settlement negotiations. I’ll help you see where the law might come into play.
